Sportsmanship Not for LeBron?

no-handshakeShould LeBron shake the hand of Dwight Howard and congratulate him after losing in the Eastern Conference Final?

Yes he should because its the right thing to do.  Its called sportsmanship and you would think the greatest player in basketball would show a little class in defeat. Especially LeBron… He’s as big of a role model as you can get right now.

I’m not going to beat LeBron up too bad over this even though he is totally in the wrong here.  LeBron has been doing everything right since he’s gotten into the NBA and is very aware of image. I understand LeBron must be heartbroken over the loss because he expected to win a championship this season but he still should of shown some class and congratulated Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic.

Even afterwards he was not apologetic for his poor sportsmanship. LeBron said

“I’m a winner. It’s not being a poor sport or anything like that. If somebody beats you up, you’re not going to congratulate them. That doesn’t make sense to me. I’m a competitor. That’s what I do. It doesn’t make sense for me to go over and shake somebody’s hand.”

Well LeBron you lost you weren’t a winner on that night or this season.

Yes it is being a poor sport.

Even when boxers or MMA fighters fight and beat each other up afterward they shake hands or hug and congratulate one another (most of the time).. Even the most hateful rivals do it (most of the time).

LeBron is a great competitor but I’m not sure why it doesn’t make sense to him to shake hands or congratulate the other team after a loss.  All I know is that LeBron is definitely in the wrong on this one.
